Based on my experience,Dubai Located in United Arab Emirates is an exciting city to visit. You can stay in a luxurious 7 star hotel ,Burj Al arab or you can enjoy a perfect dinner in Atlantis Hotel with your family. But,what i like about Dubai is adventure. You can try Dessert Safari, you can feel a thrill once your driver take you out of the city and drive you into the Sand Dunes.Your driver will take you out of Dubai to start your adventure.Your Driver will spin the car, driving it through the rough terrain of Sand Dunes, it is a perfect experience for you and your family.

After you feel the thrill of the ride ,your Driver will stop in the Middle of Dessert so you might have a unique photo oportunity. After taking a photographs your Driver will take you to the camp where you can taste a traditional Bedouin Dinner. Traditional Bedouin Dinner is one of the autentic experience in Dubai, you can see Dubai as a modern society but remember that traditional society remains exist until today.

Don't forget to try sand Bashing it is a very thrilling experience and you can't go anywhere before you try a camel ride which is very good for taking a photograph. After a thrilling day why don't you go to Al Ain Oasis village where you will see a real Oasis.

After an adventurous day you can enjoy luxurious Dubai.Go to Hundred Dubai shopping center and do some shopping and eating after a hard day. You can enjoy a traditional shopping experience by going to traditional Gold Market or Gold Souk and also Spice Souk where you can train your bargaining skill.

Beside going on a Dessert Safari you can also have a dinner on a traditional Dhow, enjoying a beutiful city lights from a traditional fisherman boat is also a very unique and must try oppurtunity. If you tired of common experience why not trying Hot air Ballon trip that will take you high above the sand dunes and you can enjoy the cool morning air as you ascend high above the Sand Dunes.

Hydropolis Underwater Hotel, Dubai, United Arab Emirates

 Review:aweada

Currently under construction in Dubai, Hydropolis is the world''s first luxury underwater hotel. It will include three elements: the land station, where guests will be welcomed, the connecting tunnel, which will transport people by train to the main area of the hotel, and the 220 suites within the submarine leisure complex. It is one of the largest contemporary construction projects in the world, covering an area of 260 hectares, about the size of London''s Hyde Park. "Hydropolis is not a project; it''s a passion," enthuses Joachim Hauser, the developer and designer of the hotel. His futuristic vision is about to take shape 20m below the surface of the Arabian Gulf, just off the Jumeirah Beach coastline in Dubai. The £300 million, 220-suite hotel is due to open at the end of 2007 and will incorporate a host of innovations that will take it far beyond the original blueprint for an underwater complex worthy of Jules Verne. There are only a few locations in the world where such a grandiose dream could be realised. A high proportion of today''s architectural marvels are materialising like fanciful mirages from the desert sands. We have come to expect extravagant enterprises to be mounted in the Middle East, and especially in Dubai. "This venture could only be born here in Dubai," says Hauser. "It [has] a very open-minded, international community - and that''s what makes it so special." The land on which Hydropolis is being built belongs to His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. It was his last free beach property on this stretch of coast. The project is a fantastic one, yet Sheikh Mohammed''s success record with comparable schemes instils confidence that science fiction can become fact. With his support, several companies have been formed to kick-start this phenomenal project, and around 150 firms are currently involved. UNDERWATER HOTEL DESIGN The original idea for Hydropolis developed out of Hauser''s passion for water and the sea, and goes much deeper than just building a hotel underwater. More than just curiosity, it is a commitment to a more far-reaching philosophy. "Once you start digging deeper and deeper into the subject, you can''t help being fascinated and you start caring about all the associated issues," he explains. "Humans consist of 80% water, the earth consists of 80% water; without water there is no life." Hydropolis reproduces the human organism in an architectural design. There is a direct analogy between the physiology of man and the architecture. The geometrical element is a figure eight lying on its side and inscribed in a circle. The spaces created in the basin will contain function areas, such as restaurants, bars, meeting rooms and theme suites. These can be compared to the components of the human organism: the motor functions and the nervous and cardiovascular systems, with the central sinus knot representing the pulse of all life. The ballroom, located at this nerve centre, will have asymmetrical pathways connecting the different storeys along ramps. A large, petal-like retracting roof will enable the staging of open-sky events. Staircases, lifts and ramps will provide access to the ballroom, while flanking catering areas will supply banquets and receptions. HYDROPOLIS LAND STATION In order to enter this surreal space, visitors will begin at the land station. This 120m woven, semicircular cylinder will arch over a multi-storey building. On the lowest level passengers board a noiseless train propelled by fully automated cable along a modular, self-supporting steel guideway to Hydropolis. A just-in-time and on-demand logistical system will facilitate efficient supply of goods to the hotel. The upper storeys of the land station house a variety of facilities, including a cosmetic surgical clinic, a marine biological research laboratory and conference facilities. On the lower levels are the staftorage and loading areas, and hotel and parking areas. The land station also includes a restaurant and high-tech cinema screening the evolution of life in the ocean and the history of underwater architecture. As a finale, the screen will open to reveal the real-life Hydropolis. A viewing platform at the front opening of the spanning roof will allow views of the architecture as well as the light shows of Hydropolis. Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo

Review:rsastry

One of the highlights of my recent trip to Dubai was the visit to the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo. Located at the Dubai Mall, the Aquarium and the Zoo occupy two floors and contain aquatic flora and fauna. The Dubai Aquarium is recognized by the Guiness Book of World Records as the single largest aquatic panel for marine life.

The entrance to the Aquarium is the huge glass panel where multitudes of fishes including exotic fishes, sharks and sting rays are visible from the outside. It immediately grabs the attention of the visitors and attracts visitors. Apart from the huge walls of the glass panels there are also tunnels where one can stand under the fishes and enjoy the marine life from the bottom.

Apart from enjoying the varieties of fishes in the aquarium, one also gets to view a lot of the under sea fauna and the flora. The landscaping also mimics the ocean floor. There are ample photo and video opportunities with this background. The Aquarium also has professional photographers taking a snap with an exotic background for those wanting a nice photo for their drawing room.

In the second floor, the underwater zoo is a collection of individual aquariums with different kinds of sea animals. There were spider crabs, molluscs, jelly fishes, penguins that really lit up the zoo. If you are lucky you could see a feeding session of the penguins when the birds come really lively. The exhibits are well designed and gives the audience maximum visibility of these animals.

Apart from the normal visit, there are other activities that are available at the Dubai aquarium such as under water diving, watching the fishes from a cage and a glass bottom boat experience. But the entrance tickets are bit steep with a minimum of 50 Dirham as the entrance ticket for all including children above 3 years.

But all in all it is a great experience and a must see attraction for any visitors to Dubai.
